Timbertech White Accent Deck with Glass and Ceiling
This deck had the most custom features for the year and there is more to come with the landscaping next year to make it very fun, exciting, and relaxing backyard!! When I first met the homeowners, they said they wanted there deck to not look like any other deck out there. Creative juices starting flowing and we came up with the deck design. Then came the custom materials. We used Timbertech’s Evolutions Radiance Rail with White Posts and Rail. Then we switched it up with black spindles and black post top caps. The middle of the deck, we chose to use full glass for the rail inserts to get a great view of the nature behind. The decking we used 2 colors which was the main color of Timbertech Legacy Pecan with Timbertech Legacy Mocha Boarder. We also used the darker Timbertech Legacy Mocha for an accent sitting area by the glass to accent the middle. We then accented the deck with Timbertech deck lighting. All of the posts have Timbertech Post Cap Lights then we added Timbertech Riser lights on the stairs. The lower beams and footing posts, we decided to wrap them all with a Full PVC Trim made from Azek Trim which is water resistant and doesn’t need to be painted. To make the deck area more useful, we then installed an Under Deck System which is made from Inside Out Under Deck System mixed with Trex’s Rain Escape System. We chose to keep with the theme and make it white. They have a hot tub under the deck, then we wanted to create some new useful spaces below. We added more lighting below the deck. 2 can lights on a dimmer above the hot tub for all year/night fun. Then we added 4 more can lights and 2 ceiling fans on the other side to middle of the deck for future plans and furniture layout. Spring 2017 Pat with Earthly Possibilities did there landscaping around the deck and it ties everything together. This deck was a fun deck to do with the design and material selections. The homeowners were also great to work with and they will have many years of enjoyment with the low-maintenance deck and there new outdoor living experience!!
