This deck was very fun to design and build and the homeowners were great to work with!! They originally had a wood deck with orange railing. The homeowners wanted a larger deck with more of a custom look that was low-maintenance. When I was viewing the project, I really liked the tree in the corner and they were planning on doing some landscaping with the project. I designed the deck to get the most amount of usable outdoor space with keeping the existing tree. The deck then became designed with an Octagon Gas Fire Place Area for great entertaining purposes to encase the tree between the house and part of the deck. We also added 2 colors of composite decking made from Timbertech PVC Capped Composite Decking (Legacy – Mocha and Pecan) for a better custom look that created (3) outdoor living spaces. The railing was a modern looking Full Aluminum Railing made from Westbury and Bronze was the color chosen. Deck Post Cap Lights and Riser Lights finished the deck project. The landscaper was Earthly Possibilities which rebuilt the retaining walls and did his mulch with flowerings. The deck was built in a week and he was ready to entertain the rest of Summer and for many more years!!
