Large Timbertech Deck with Separated Outdoor Living Areas

This deck may have looked good when it was first built, but the white decking doesn’t stay too white after years of use. The original 15 foot wide deck without stairs changed to a 40 foot wide deck with 2-3 outdoor living areas and stairs to the ground. Because of the total width of the deck, we chose to do some picture frames to separate the living areas. The picture frames we used a different color of decking (Timbertech Mocha). Also the gas fire pit area is 1 step lower than the main deck along with a separated picture frame. The product we used was the upgraded Timbertech PVC Capped Composite Decking – Legacy Series, then we chose the Westbury Rivera Railing (which has a double upper rail). The Westbury Rivera Railing with double top rail creates great views off the deck when sitting or standing. The railing color was Bronze which is also unique to the design and the new decking colors. I have talked with the homeowners a few months after the deck was built and they had comments of they have never been outside utilizing there deck so much in one year. They absolutely love it and the deck design and material selection turned out great.
